Back in December 2013, my church performed a Christmas production, entitled “Christmas This Year,” which looks at Christmas from a radio station based in the 1940’s. Here’s the full description…
It’s Christmas Eve and a nor’easter is headed toward the Pigeon Hills Broadcasting Company. The radio station’s employees are faced with the possibility that they’ll be stuck at work for Christmas. During their Christmas Eve broadcast, a knock is heard at the door and the radio station welcomes some special guests to their show.
After recording the whole thing using a few Sony HD cameras, it was edited together in Final Cut Pro X. There’s also a “special edition” in black and white with effects on it that you can check out here.
Take some time to watch it. If you do, let me know what you think with a comment below!
